I am going to build this 48 Ford Convertible for my friend, BTD! i am not going to build it stock but as a mild street custom. First thing I have done is to remove the front and rear splash pans and I will fashion roll pans. I'll chop the windshield frame and use the convertible top provided in the kit. Not sure what color to paint it yet. I'm also thinking of using a 5.0 liter fuel injected V-8 from the 55 F-100 pickup kit. I probably won't shave the trim but thinking about using a bright color with black out style trim. Let me know what you think! Thanks for looking!
