This idea started with a old kit I dug out looking for some parts for my chevy truck in the background and this picture.
I like the colorful stripes on the black. But I am going to go 70's look with modern componets.
Going to paint it with a black sparkle metallic paint and use the kits colorful decals. A 99 Firebird kit will be giving up its front and rear suspension along with the LS1 and the transmission. She also is going to have some side pipes! Still debating on going with a red interior or black. Leaning towards the red to make her really stand out.
Well here is the last 3-4 days worth of work on her.
Converted it into a hardtop and molded the cowl from a 69 camaro hood on. The cowl will be painted yellow to fit with the decals. The spokes of the wheels will be gold.
